a lot of people think it’s strange that little mae mae and I turn dead things into art and jewelry and that I have a cat skull on a shelf in my room that a friend gave to me. I think the whole concept of people being weirded out by deceased things is interesting. Is it because we all want to think of ourselves as immortal and it reminds us of our mortality? Or do people find it strange because we aren’t letting this things “rest in peace”? I think that what we do is beautiful because it reminds us that we are mortal and it kind of makes light of it. Also, it is kind of fun to put a dead bumble bee who had a short life on a pedestal/ give them new life.
